Fantasy Football Helper originally started as a human draft-day assistant, helping fantasy football players draft their teams in real-time and then acting as their personal fantasy expert throughout the season.
As a long-time fantasy football commissioner, I know there’s nothing worse than having someone auto-draft in your home league. One year, a league member couldn’t make any draft dates. Instead of auto-drafting their team, I agreed to draft it as unbiased as possible. They won the league that year thanks to a Dez Bryant breakout season, stacked with Tony Romo, plus a 1,500-yard season from Ryan Matthews.
From that point forward, whenever a friend, family member, or friend-of-a-friend couldn’t make a draft, I was the replacement drafter. I realized that if I knew people who didn’t have time to draft, there must be many others in the same situation — and Fantasy Football Helper was born.
Today, the idea and product have evolved from managing people’s teams and offering draft-day assistance into draft resources and tools that serve 1,000+ customers every year. Even though the brand has grown, the original concept is still at the heart of what we do: identify customer needs with gaps in the fantasy football market and provide customized help and analysis.
